About Nora
Nora Al Nasser, MSW, is a primary therapist at Cornerstone Healing Center, passionate about helping individuals and families reconnect with their humanity and inner strength. Her path to becoming a therapist grew from frustration with the limitations of case management—she wanted to go beyond surface-level solutions to create real change, emotional healing, and lasting transformation. Nora approaches her work with the belief that every person is inherently worthy, valuable, and deserving of unconditional positive regard.
Her therapeutic style combines both top-down and bottom-up techniques, weaving together elements of science and spirituality for a holistic understanding of the human experience. Nora specializes in addiction, mental health, and short-term solution-focused counseling, helping clients discover their strengths and embrace challenges as opportunities for growth. She encourages clients to give themselves permission to be human, to recognize when pain-based decisions are blocking their progress, and to lean into practices that foster resilience and self-compassion.
Outside of therapy, Nora enjoys salsa dancing, cooking, baking, and exploring different cultures. Quality time with her loved ones is what she values most. A fan of psychological thrillers and Jordanian cuisine, she brings her vibrant personality and cultural appreciation into all areas of life—including the safe, supportive environment she creates for her clients.
