About Josh
Joshua Snyder, MSW, is a primary therapist at Cornerstone Healing Center in Scottsdale, where he brings empathy, authenticity, and personal insight to his work. Though he once studied architecture, Josh’s life took a meaningful turn when he found sobriety. That transformative experience gave him a sense of purpose and inspired him to return to school with the goal of helping others find healing and meaning in their own lives.
In his work with clients, Josh focuses on meeting people exactly where they are, rather than where he thinks they “should” be. He creates a therapeutic space rooted in respect, autonomy, and trust, allowing clients to process and reflect at their own pace. Josh’s experience includes working with individuals facing substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Regardless of the diagnosis, his goal is to help clients feel more connected to themselves and to a sense of purpose.
Outside the therapy room, Josh enjoys golfing, playing pickleball, watching movies, and spending quality time with his family. A lover of literature, his favorite book is A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving—a story that resonates with his belief in personal growth and finding meaning through life’s challenges.
