No. Mercy Care is a not-for-profit health plan that provides coverage for people who qualify for Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) benefits. AHCCCS is Arizona’s Medicaid agency that offers the plans.
How can I apply for Mercy Care?
To apply for Mercy Care, you’ll need to apply for AHCCCS first by using their online application or calling 1-855-432-7587. A representative will help you through the application process and answer any questions.
To apply for AHCCCS, you must provide basic information such as:
